A freezing, snowy Saturday didn’t prohibit baseball from being played around the county.
Bruce played in Vardaman on Saturday and earned an 18-3 win. Bruce was coming off an 11-2 loss to East Webster on Friday. Vardaman lost 7-4 to Hebron Friday night.
Calhoun City was on the road Saturday losing 9-7 to Water Valley and 11-2 to Independence. They were defeated Friday night by Houston.
