Four vehicles were involved in a wreck this afternoon around 4 p.m. in Pittsboro, but only one person was injured. A utility trailer detached from the SUV that was pulling it, causing a chain reaction. A small pickup avoided the trailer which ended up on the east side of the road in a ditch. The red car, pictured, hit the small pickup, and the log truck collided with the car. All vehicles were traveling south. Traffic was one-lane for about an hour after the accident.
