The Bruce Lady Trojans won two out of five games over Spring Break.
They opened with an 8-3 win over Charleston in the Vardaman tournament. Abby Free pitched. Jessica Aron, Bailey Massey and Abbie Patton all had hits.
They lost to Houston 10-5 in their second game in the tournament. Patton pitched for Bruce. Patton, Aron, Allie Carpenter and Haley Hubbard accounted for the Bruce hits.
They lost Friday to North Pontotoc 10-0 with Caitlyn Burt on the mound.
Saturday they defeated Walnut 6-1. Free earned the win. Aron hit a triple. Patton and Free both hit doubles.
They were beaten 9-3 in their second game Saturday against West Union. Patton took the loss. Bailey Massey led the offense with two hits.
The Lady Trojans are scheduled to play at Hamilton Thursday and then in the county tournament at Calhoun City Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
