Calhoun City golf won two matches over the past week.

Calhoun City shot a 188 to earn first at Houston.
The Hilltoppers golf team finished second at 191 followed by Bruce 212, North Pontotoc 230, and South Pontotoc 240.
Noah Hill led Calhoun City with a 39 on the 9-hole course. Other ‘City golfers were Jacob Ruth 44, Coleman Suber 49, Peyton Suber 56, and Cole Gary 63.
Bruce golfers competing included Cameron Clarke 37, Casey Vance 51, Austin Winter 58, Nathan Hill 66, Barrett Box 68, and Rudy Ferguson 63.
Brandon Walker shot a 42 and Cody McMahan a 66. Both are from Vardaman.
Calhoun City won a local match at Pine Hills shooting a 174 followed by Bruce 192 and East Webster 209.
Bruce’s Cameron Clarke shot a 32 to earn medalist honors.
Other Bruce golfers were Casey Vance 43, Austin Winter 57, Nathan Hill 60, and Rudy Ferguson 63.
Noah Hill led ‘City with a 37, followed by Jacob Ruth 43, Coleman Suber 46, Peyton Suber 48, and Cole Gary 47.

Brandon Walker, of Vardaman, shot a 33 to earn second place.
Clarke and Noah Hill tied for medalist in an 18-hole match Monday at Cleveland Country Club.
Team scores were Cleveland 340, Calhoun City 359, Grenada 375, Bruce 386, Winona 460.
Bruce scores were Cameron Clarke (co-medalist) one under par 71, Casey Vance 85, Austin Winter 109, Nathan Hill 121, Rudy Ferguson 123, Barrett Box 109.
