Lora Frances Herring Edwards, 91, of Eupora, died July 11, 2014 at Eupora Long Term Care. She was born August 13, 1922 in Calhoun County, the daughter of Paul Herring and Cannie Bell Neal Herring. She was a homemaker and member of New Hope Baptist Church in Webster Co.
Survivors include one son, James (Penelope “Penny”) Edwards, Brandon; two grandchildren, Gray Nester and Kim Bane, and great-grandchildren, Chandler Bane, Jordan Bane, Carly Bane and Grayson Nester. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Edwards, and a daughter, Gail Edwards.
Her funeral service was Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel in Calhoun City. Burial was in New Hope-Old Bethany Cemetery in Webster County with Rev. Matthew White officiating. Pallbearers were Greg Lovorn, Tim Tindall, Tye Tindall, Don Cook, Mike Edwards, and Barry Reedy.
