Incumbent Whit Casey has qualified to seek re-election as the district five representative on the Calhoun County School Board.

Casey qualified Tuesday afternoon. The deadline to qualify for the race is Friday, Sept. 5.
Circuit Clerk Carlton Baker confirmed that no other potential candidates have picked up qualifying papers from his office, but noted they can be downloaded from the secretary of state’s website.
The school board election will be on the Nov. 4 ballot.
