Calhoun Academy basketball teams opened the season Thursday night with a pair of losses at Humphreys Academy.
Regan Hubbard scored 15 for the Lady Cougars in their 44-42 loss. Hunter Robertson added 13 and Casey Moss 10.
The boys were defeated 49-34. Joseph Boudreaux led the scoring with 12 points, followed by Todd Harrell with 10 and Forest Shoemaker seven.
Calhoun Academy opens the home schedule Tuesday night against Hebron.
