Martha Camp

Martha Bess Camp, 85, of Water Valley, died Thursday, November 20, 2014, at her residence. Born August 13, 1929, in Calhoun county, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Shields and Bessie
Shields. She was retired from Big Yank as a seamstress. 
Survivors include daughters, Hilda Camp Gregory and Carolyn Spin Smith, both of Water Valley; grandchildren, Gina (Michael) Schmitz, Jason (LeeAnn) Gregory, Deana (Kerry) Pittman, Carrie (Jeremy) Hickson,  Katie (Nathan) Hickson, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lucious Hale Camp; a daughter, Patricia Ann Turner; a sister, Mildred Bratton, and a brother, J.C. Shields.
A graveside service will be Friday at 2 p.m.  at Camp Family Cemetery in Water Valley, with the Bro. Bubba Jenkins officiating.
