The 31st Annual A.D. Goodman Scholarship Banquet will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. at the St. Luke Masonic Lodge in Bruce.
Khadijah Thompson
The 2014 Scholarship recipient is Khadijah Thompson. She is a graduate of Bruce High School, currently attending Itawamba Community College, majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy Assistant. She is the daughter of Ivory Freelon and Willie Thompson.
The guest speaker for this year’s event is Elder Richard Freelon.
Rev. Tommie Lee Daniel and First Sergeant Joey Jones are the honorees for this year’s banquet.
