Ora Mae Ferguson

Ora Mae Ferguson, 92 of Bruce, died  Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at Bruce Community Living Center. Born May 4, 1922 in Webb, she was the daughter of the late William Box and the late Roxy Brasher Box.  She was a homemaker and member of Bruce First Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Pam Todd, Burnsville; Joan Claunch, Bruce, and Kay (Paul Ray) Tyler, Bruce; brothers, Roy (Betty) Box, Bruce, and Paul Box, Memphis; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-greatgrandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Jimmie Dee Ferguson, and Melba Box,  and daughter-in-law, Kay Ferguson, all of Bruce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady T. Ferguson; son, Pat Ferguson Ferguson; brothers, Hoyt, Durant, Ray and Dean Box; sisters, Floy Box Parker, Hazel Snellings and Helen Welch.

Her funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mickey Ferguson officiating and Dr. Daniel Hathorne assisting. Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip Beaty, Tyler Donovan, Dakota Ferguson, Kennon Ferguson, Jarred Ferguson, Jeff Ferguson, Joey Ferguson, Justin Ferguson, Mark Ferguson, Joey Johnson, James Maglothin, James Metcaff, Chris Smith, Clay Smith, Colt Smith, Hunter Smith and Robert Tyler.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home.
