Juanita Holloway Lucius, 68, of Vardaman, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at Graceland Care Center in Oxford. She was born December 27, 1946 in Big Creek, to Benjamin Boyd Holloway and Polly Angie Hughes Holloway. She was a retired seamstress for Kellwood and a Baptist.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City. The funeral service will be Monday, Jan. 12, at 11 a.m. at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel in Calhoun City with Bro. Lynn Hughes and Bro. Benny Hill officiating. Burial will be in Oak Springs Cemetery in Derma.
Pallbearers will be Chris Hillhouse, Jaime Russell, Matthew Winter, Dewayne Brassfield, Jason Tutor and Austin Howell. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Russell, Joey Winter and Jeremy Hillhouse.
She is survived by her husband, Larry James Lucius, Vardaman; two daughters, Penny Lucius, Calhoun City; Amanda (Ricky) McGee, Vardaman; one son, Randy (Donna Adams) Lucius, West Point, one sister, Cathy Holloway (Wayne) Mosby; one brother, James (Theresa) Holloway; seven grandchildren, Whittney Gee, Jordan Lucius, Johnathan Lucius, Dusty McGee, Koby McGee, Eli McGee and Rocky McGee; a special great niece, Carla Brown Walls, and special great nephew, Bradley Andrews.
She was preceded in death by parents, four sisters, Virginia Jackson, Mildred Montgomery, Ann Armstrong, Margie Wiley; three brothers, Bobby Holloway, Travis Holloway and Arlie Holloway.
