Vardaman native Ginger Tedder, who teaches history and economics at Starkville High School, was recently named Teacher of the Year for the 3rd Congressional District and is a finalist for Mississippi Teacher of the Year. She credits her passion for education to her Calhoun County family and the teachers she had at Vardaman and MSMS.
