Willie J. Bailey II, Calhoun City native, has published his second novel, Marbles.
Marbles is the story about a social worker, Grace Sullivan, who was finally able to locate the main character Alford Seamen’s only living relative, his great aunt Pauline Seamen, who is 80 years old. Pauline gives Alford food, clothes, and shelter in the small town of Calhoun City, but the world is far too advanced for her to teach him how to survive.
Explore Marbles, to see how a Wildcat fourth grader uses education and creativity to teach himself in the absence of his mother and father.
Bailey published his first book, Generation Superstar, in 2013. He is a graduate of CCHS class of 2002. His books are available at www.williejbailey.com and amazon.com.
