Has to be a better way to keep up with my glasses

When I leave the house, my check list includes two main things– my glasses and my phone. I feel like if I have those two, I can get pretty much anything else I need.
And those are the two things that I lose the most.
The phone is much easier to find than the glasses.
To begin with, I never turn my phone on silent unless I am in a meeting. I don’t keep the volume turned down and do keep it on vibration, too, so if I do lose it, someone can call it to help me find it by sound.

It is very frustrating to help someone look for their phone when it’s on silent. Two different people “lost” their phones at the fair cabin and both phones were on silent. It’s nearly impossible to help them unless the phone is in view.
The other reason my phone is easy to find or at least pinpoint, is that Joel and I both have “Find My Friends” on my phone, which allows us to look on our phone and find the other person’s phone.

It’s very handy if, for instance, I left my phone at the office and don’t know if I left it there or dropped it in the grocery store. Joel can go to “Find My Friends” and see the address where my phone is.
We also used it to find his phone when he dropped it somewhere riding on his motorcycle. He took my phone and drove to where it was showing on the screen. He found it quickly. It had been run over, but the point is that he found it.
I wish I had a way to keep up with my glasses besides the obvious of keeping them on my face.

I have lost them everywhere– the yard, under the bed, under the seat of the car, between the seats, in a pile of the granddaughters’ toys, etc.
When I’m not wearing them, I usually tuck them in the top of my shirt, which works really well, until I bend over, and then don’t often hear them when they fall out.

I lose them constantly. No matter how hard I try not to. I always find them, at least by the next day, but it’s endlessly frustrating and totally my fault.
There are gadgets for sale on such websites as “Solutions” where you can put something on your key chain to help you find things– like your keys, a pet’s collar or a wallet. You hang the transmitter on the item and a locater remote control helps you find it.

Obviously the thing you hang would be too big for my glasses.
I need a tiny dot transmitter that would stick on the glasses somewhere discreet. Then I could use the remote control locater to find them.

Joel and I have been riding our bicycles almost every day. It’s been really nice since the weather has cooled off ever so slightly.
We have found a couple of different routes in town that make for pretty good riding if you time it right to avoid the busier traffic.
Occasionally we go up the big hill beside our house on Clay St. and down the other hill going east. That takes you directly to Spratlin Subdivision which makes for a ride with not too much traffic. We leave there and go to Bruce Park and make a loop before coming back and going on Johnson St. back to Newberger and then home.

Another route is to leave our house and go to the square and down South Newberger. After 6 p.m. the  traffic is somewhat less that way. We then go down by Weyerhaeuser, across to Bruce Elementary School crossing McSweyn and going down to Bruce Sweet Potato.
We are really enjoying the bike riding.
