The special election for the district three school board seat now has two qualifiers.
Bubba Weeks, of Bruce, officially qualified Friday joining Willie Ray Brown in the Nov. 3 election. Brown qualified earlier this week with the circuit clerk's office.
The deadline to qualify is Friday, Sept. 4.
It's a non-partisan election meaning all candidates will run as an Independent and there will be no runoff – top vote getter wins.
