Bettye Dianne Reedy Edmondson, 67, of Vardaman, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at her home. She was born January 8, 1948 in Memphis, the daughter of Eli and Laverne Taylor Reedy. She was a photographer, member of Reedy Chapel Baptist Church, and Metavivor research and support. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 8 at Reedy Chapel Baptist Church in Calhoun City from 1 p.m. until time of her funeral service time 3 p.m. Bro. Chris Duncan and Bro. Bobby Poss will be officiating. Burial will be in Reedy Chapel Cemetery with Pryor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Barry Reedy, Luke Reedy, Walt Edington, Gene Ruth, Cody Ruth and Jeffrey Hall.
She is survived by her husband, Carter K. Edmondson; two sons, Tim (Stephanie) Edmondson, and P.K. (Mary) Edmondson, all of Vardaman; one sister, Jacqueline Reedy Walls, Vardaman; two brothers, Roger Dale Reedy, Luling, LA; Billy Reedy, Mount View, AR, and four grandchildren, Kemp Edmondson, Conner Edmondson, Molly Edmondson and Eli Edmondson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
