Lee Edgar Lambert, 75, died Sunday, September 1, 2013, at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley. After his many travels, he returned to Mississippi where he lived most of his life and became a known produce farmer. He was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the Coleman Funeral Home Chapel, Oxford. Bro. Randy Bain of the First Baptist Church of Water Valley will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three sisters, Ruby Inez Tutor of Water Valley; Shirley Mae Smith of Madison, Al., and Mary Pauline “Polly” Cother of Hopkinsville, KY.
His parents, George W. and Annie Mae Lambert, one son, Lee Lambert, Jr., two sisters, Evelyn Hancock Ivy and Dorothy Lambert, and two brothers, George W. Lambert, Jr. and Jerry G. Lambert, all preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Water Valley, MS.
