The Vardaman Rams remain in search of their first victory of the season after last Friday’s 31-7 loss at Hamilton.
The Lions led 22-0 at halftime after a pair of rushing touchdowns by Keshon Heard, a Pallas Fair scoring run, and a safety when Ram QB Brandon Walker was sacked in the end zone.
Tavis Townsend accounted for the Rams’ only score – a 3-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. The score was set up by a 40-yard run by Quon Cummings.
Hamilton would add another safety and a 37-yard touchdown run by Fair in the fourth quarter.
The Rams, 0-4, will be back at home next Friday when they host Houlka.
