Two arrests have been made connected to a burglary of a Vardaman area home.

Jessica Leister, 26, of Water Valley has been charged with burglary of a dwelling along with Jimmy Joe Tutor, 23, of Derma.
The burglary occurred Monday around 5 p.m. at the home of Preston and Candy McGreger on CR 416, Sheriff Greg Pollan said. Entry was gained from kicking in the front door. Three TVs and a briefcase were reported stolen.
Sheriff Pollan said they received a “lead” in the case late Monday night and obtained a search warrant to search Leister’s home in Water Valley.
Calhoun deputy Juston Robertson and Yalobusha County deputies conducted the search and found the stolen items.
Pollan said the case remains under investigation. He said Leister is also facing additional charges in Yalobusha County.
