Freddie Hugh Carter, 65, of Vardaman, died January 21, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 13, 1948 in Houston, to Clara Carter. He had worked for the city of Hattiesburg, and was currently disabled. His funeral service was Thursday at 2 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Hilderbrand officiating. Burial was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include a cister, Alice Fay Carter, Chickasaw County, and caretakers, Charlotte McKinney, Terry McKinney, and Jeremy Carter; a host of cousins.
