A Vardaman man is in custody and charged with burglary of a Vardaman area home last week.
James Michael Jenkins, 28, is charged with burglary of a dwelling. Arrest reports show that Jenkins stole guns, jewelry and computer tablets from the Brian Murphree home on CR 429.
Deputy Dean Poynor said all but one of the tablets had been recovered.
One of the stolen guns was purchased from Jenkins as part of an undercover buy. Other items were recovered in his bedroom.
Authorities were also able to match shoe prints left at the scene with the shoes Jenkins was wearing at the time of his arrest.
