Saturday, May 3 is the deadline to register to vote to be eligible to participate in the June 3 primaries.
Circuit Clerk Carlton Baker said his office will be open from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday.
Absentee voting has also begun. Anyone 65 or older or disabled can get an absentee ballot sent to them via mail, Baker said.
His office will be open Saturday, May 24 and May 31 from 8 a.m. until noon for absentee voting.
There are three races in the June 3 primaries. The Republican ballot has one race for U.S. Senate between Thomas Carey, Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel.
The Democratic primary has two races. The U.S. Senate race features Travis Childers, William Bond Compton Jr., Bill Marcy and Jonathan Rawl.
Ron E. Dickey and Rex. N. Weathers are running for U.S. House of Representatives in the 1st congressional district.
