Authorities are still investigating a fatal accident that happened sometime last night on Hwy. 32 east of Bruce.
Bruce and Chickenbone Fire Departments responded to the call around 6:30 a.m. when the Ford Focus was spotted upside down on the south side of Hwy. 32 just east of the Chickenbone Fire Department.
Authorities believe the accident occurred earlier last night but the wreck went unnoticed until after sunrise this morning.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time to allow all family to be notified.
The car appeared headed toward Bruce when it left the road on the right side and then crossed the highway crashing down a steep embankment on the left side.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
