Evin Taylor Chrestman, 25, died Sunday, February 1, 2015, in Houlka. He was born May 15, 1989, in Amory to Eric Evins Chrestman and Mary Ellen Schallock Chrestman. He was employed by Ashley Furniture and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. He was an outdoorsman, loved working with his horses, and was an avid Ole Miss fan. He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Baptist Church in Houston with Dr. Randy Rinehart and Rev. Wayne Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery in Vardaman.
Survivors include his mother, Mary and Randy Putman, Pontotoc, and his father, Eric and Donna Chrestman, Houlka; his sisters, Blair (Andy) Rice, Pontotoc; Christi Alford, Houston; Raelynne (Ryan) Terry, Houlka; Tara Shempert, Philadelphia; his grandparents, Glenda Schallock, Houston; Mary Baker, Covington, TN; Raymond and Betty Putman, Frederick, MD; Donald and Joyce House, Houston; his great-grandmother, Inez Schwalenburg, Houston; his nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved, Chloe, Sammy Laine, Carter, Sarah Grace, Kendalynne and Keelan.
Pallbearers are D.J. Pully, Brodie Collums, Dalton Collums, Steven Simmons, Cole Russell, Jacob Moss.
