The Calhoun Academy Cougars kept their season alive Tuesday night with a 39-37 victory over Central in the play-in game for the district tournament.

The Cougars advance to the district tournament at Central where they will play Thursday at 7:45 p.m. The Lady Cougars will open district tournament play Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Last week, CA teams concluded regular season play losing a pair at Carroll. The boys lost 59-43. Dalton Poynor scored 14 and Scott Shankle 10. The Lady Cougars lost 58-39. Regan Hubbard scored 12 and Casey Moss 11.
