Calhoun County is under a winter storm watch beginning at 6 p.m. tonight (Sunday).
The National Weather Service in Memphis says the watch will continue through Monday afternoon. The forecast calls for the possibility of less than one inch of snow, half an inch of sleet and one quarter inch of ice accumulation.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the low 40s throughout the day Sunday under sunny skies. Precipitation is expected to begin around midnight and continue through Monday with temperatures in the mid 30s and wind chills in the mid 20s.
