Northern District Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley will hold a Town Hall meeting Thursday, March 12 at the Calhoun County Courthouse from 6-7 p.m.

“I want to give the people in Calhoun County the opportunity to share their concerns with me personally about utility services and the lack of cellular telephone, high-speed Internet, and natural gas service in their area,” Presley said. “I also appreciate the opportunity to speak directly to the public about the important issues facing the PSC today.”
Among other things, Commissioner Presley plans to discuss the “Zap the Gap” program to address poor cellular telephone service and the lack of high-speed Internet and natural gas service, the No-Call law and other consumer related topics that affect Mississippians and our economic climate.
Presley met last week with residents of western Calhoun and eastern Yalobusha counties about the poor cell service between Bruce and Coffeeville.
All are invited to the Thursday meeting at the courthouse in Pittsboro.
