Calhoun City has had 11 games rained out so far this season, only two of which it appears they will be able to make up.

They lost to Amory 8-0 in their only action last week. The Wildcats had three hits in the game as a team.
Coach Josh Miller said he’s never experienced a season like this, struggling to play any games with less than a month remaining before the playoffs begin.
“The only good thing is everybody else is in the same boat, so we just have to do the best we can,” Miller said.

The Wildcats lost to Eupora 7-2 Tuesday night in the region opener. Evan Parker took the loss on the mound for ‘City. Trey Pittman earned the win for the Eagles.
The ‘Cats are scheduled to visit Mooreville Thursday and play West Union and Houlka at Houlka on Saturday.
The game scheduled with Okolona this Friday has been moved to next Tuesday and will be part of a double-header.
A previously rained out game with Houston has been rescheduled for April 18.
