Imogene Kelley, 87 of Banner, died Sunday, April 26, 2015, at her residence. Born June 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Herman Wright and the late Clara Mitchell Wright. She was the wife of the late James Orlin Kelley. She was loving wife and devoted homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Providence Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Charles (Rhonda) Kelley, Belden; daughters, Judy Hurst, Bruce, and Anita (George) Adams, Millington, TN; sisters, Eva Covington, Banner, and Audrey Cook, Bruce; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Buster Wright and Wayne Wright; sister, Estelle Buchanan, and grandson, Spencer Kelley.
Her funeral service will be Monday at 4 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Foster officiating and Bro. Darrell Logan assisting. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery in Banner.
The family will receive friends Monday from 2-3:30 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home at Bruce.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Adams, Zane Adams, Mitchell Akins, Larry Comstock, Mitchell Hurst and Nick James. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Hurst and Johnny Wilson.
