A man was discovered on the side of the road in in the Gauley Community this morning dead of an apparent gunshot.
Calhoun County Sheriff's Department investigates the scene of a death this morning in Gauley.
The Calhoun County Sheriff's Department was on scene at 10:30 a.m. after the body was reported by a passerby in the Gauley Community on CR 308.
More information will be released as the investigation progresses.
