Wayne “Honky” Harris was in court Monday for his bond hearing, but he left with no bond set.
Harris, who has been incarcerated in the Calhoun County Jail since turning himself in on June 28 after being indicted by the Grand Jury on charges of depraved heart murder, touching a child for lustful purposes, and four counts of sexual battery, will have to wait until Friday to learn what his bond will be.
He appeared in court Monday dressed in an orange, prison jump suit but his attorneys asked for a continuance in the hearing which was granted by Judge Andrew Howorth.
The hearing will resume Friday, Aug. 9.
Calhoun County Circuit Court’s current term will continue the rest of this and next week.
