Ines Dickson, 97, died Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Calhoun County Health Services in Calhoun City. Born December 27, 1917 in Lima, Oh., she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and the late Goldie Hite Rowland. She was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Bruce United Methodist Church.
Surviving are son, Herbert (Rhonda) Dickson, Jr. and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Dickson, and daughter, Erma Faye Dickson.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce.
Her funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul McDonald, Bro. Bobby Burnham, Rev. Lannis May and Bro. Reece Ward will be officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rupert Bruner, Brad Dickson, Craig Dickson Gene Dickson, Gary Edwards, Bill Embry, Johnny Kakales,and Steve King.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Methodist Men.
