Derma Board of Aldermen took two bids under advisement for the Church Hill Community Building property and added more speed bumps in town at the regular meeting of the board last night.

Alderwoman Kendra Mays Wright said she had been asked about installing speed bumps near Oak Grove Church at the intersection of Enochs and Church Hill.
After extended discussion, the board voted to put in two speed bumps, one on either side of the intersection.
In another matter, the board set the public hearing on the proposed budget for Monday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m.
Clerk Deneen James said the sale of land for delinquent taxes for 2012 taxes will be Monday, Aug. 26 at 8:30 a.m.
She said that seven had been added to the bad debt list– Barbara Ann Williams, William R. Tutor, Luvon McMillian, Lakeshia Hamilton, David Starsky, Shelia Hamblin and David Edmond.
The board also voted to renew employee health insurance through December 2014 with a $50 per person monthly increase.
The board recessed the meeting until the public hearing August 26.
