Jimmy Lyles Hodge, 78, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at his home in Oxford. Born in Oxford, to William Lyles and Dorothy Emma Hodge, he was retired from Elliott and Britt Engineers where he worked as a field operation supervisor. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and an active member of the Yocona Community. He enjoyed telling stories and loved his family. He served in the United States Army National Guard for eight years.The funeral service will be Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at 1 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church with Rev. Buster Wilson and Rev. Chase Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Delay Baptist Church Cemetery.
