Masonic Scholarship Banquet will be Friday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge Building in Bruce.
Chelsea Tillman
Speaker for the banquet will be Velvet Tillman, and scholarship recipient is Chelsea Tillman, daughter of Velvet and husband, the Rev. Charles Tillman.
Miss Tillman is a 2015 honor graduate of Bruce High School. Her honors include 4.0 GPA, principal’s honor roll, ranked 3rd in her class, student council president, Fine Arts Juniorettes president, Beta Club, RYLA convention attendee, BHS band drum major and Bruce Rotary Youth Leadership award recipient.
Chelsea attends Trinity Outreach Center Church in Houston. She is a student at Mississippi State University where she plans to major in biochemistry pre-dental.
She plans to attend dental school and become an orthodontist.
