MDOT officers visit Calhoun City Elementary

MDOT officers Mark Hendrix and John Lancaster visited Calhoun City Elementary’s K-4 students to discuss how they help in our community.  Hendrix and Lancaster discussed highway safety techniques, keeping our highways clean, and being a good citizen in our classroom by minding the teacher and following rules.  All of the K-4 students loved investigating the MDOT Cruiser and watching the flashing lights.  The officers passed out coloring books, mini book, and badges for every child.
