The recently formed Calhoun County Churches United is holding the first- county-wide Thanksgiving Worship Service in Pittsboro at the Multi-Purpose Building Sunday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m.
The focus of the evening is prayer and fellowship, with reflection from Rev. Lewis Ellis, Jr. of Porter’s Chapel, and Worship Leaders from Grace Fellowship Praise and other various churches of the county community.
“There is so much in our families, our county, state and country for which to be thankful,” said John Warren, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Calhoun City. “Sharing that sense of gratitude together deepens our awareness that all is a gift and can move us to continue working together, using all of these gifts for the good of the whole county.”
All are invited to attend the service.
