Geraldine Thompson Dorroh, 83, of Eupora died Friday, Janu. 16, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Eupora. She was born September 4, 1931 in Big Creek, to L.C. Thompson and Jakie Boland Thompson. She was a farmer of Dorroh Farms and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Webster county.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Webster county. Bro. Hal Selby, Bro. Matthew White and Bro. Tom Daniel officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethany Cemetery in Webster county. Pryor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Sidney Langston, Anthony Norwood, Travis Fulgham, Matt Knight, Vic Nickels and Junior Grantham.
She is survived by two daughters, LaNell (Bill) Kellum, Starkville; Deborah Alexander, Stow, OH; three sisters, Ava June Petreman, Memphis, TN; Carolyn Tedder, Pearl, and Dannie Ree Poe, Pontotoc; one brother, L.C. “Sonny” Thompson, Jr., Booneville; son-in-law, William Lee (Lin) Bagwell; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dorroh; daughter, Melissa Dorroh and parents.
